With rising energy prices and falling solar and storage pricing, the business case for installing solar energy has never been more compelling. The cost of installation per kW is low on buildings with large, open roofs. If, as is the case with many commercial buildings, energy consumption is high, a solar PV installation can produce significant savings, as well as helping your business lower its carbon emissions.
One assessment claimed that, as of 2009, wind had the “lowest relative greenhouse gas emissions, the least water consumption demands and… the most favourable social impacts” compared to photovoltaic, hydro, geothermal, coal and gas.
